It's a beautiful morning here in SoCal turning the page of the calendar I see September but I feel fall is quietly knocking, do you?

My youngest went back to school and had a big 4 day week only to have another 4 day week this week!! I have been craving apples and pears and love to get them from the open markets... I think this time of year I just want to bake to have the smell of Autumn!!
My favorite restaurant is "French Laundry"... LOVED LOVED LOVED dining there!

I got out my F L cook book and think I'm going to do the pear Tart.
a favorite vintage find from the midwest it is a special piece and very old...I thought would show it with my pears!
Quiet here with my oldest away at college.... I Miss Him!!!
I am packing a care package, but I don't think my tart will survive the mail!

What a FABULOUS wheelbarrow! The colors are BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT for the FALL! I guess I'm a little partial because it came from the MIDWEST! Such a SWEET DISPLAY with the pears~~~they look DELISH! From one sweetie to another~~~~Roxie
